Kidzania Kuala Lumpur Recognised As Co-Curricular Partner by The Ministry of Education Malaysia
Kidzania Kuala Lumpur reached another milestone on 18th May 2015 as the award winning learning centre is recognised as a co-curricular partner with the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE). This auspicious event took place at Kidzania's Theatre when Puan Hajjah Rozainum Ahmad, Director of Co-curricular partner to Susanah Abdul Rani, Governer of Kidzania Kuala Lumper and Singapore. The partnership recognises Kidzania Kuala Lumpur as one of the Ministry of Education's smart partners in their efforts to promote learning through experience.
KidZania's efforts in combining elements of real life experience of real life experiences and fun, with educational values imparted to children, had made them ideal for MOE to collaborate with for their English Mania programme. Participating schools and their students would visit KidZania to experience the role-playing occupations at the establishments while associating terminologies and words relating to their job, with the main intent of improving their English.
The programme is then reinforced in schools whereby KidZania go! will visit schools and get create role-playing activities found at KidZania Kuala Lumpur. Special terminology booklets explaining each occupation in English will also be distributed to the teachers and students. All of the activities are meant to improve the standard of English in schools, in line with MOE's Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025.
It such a great exposure to all the children. It may give them more confident to be them self and practising their English.
Efforts such as these are essential to the development of the country's education curricular within the Education Blueprint's objectives of developing out-of-school co-curricular modules, which will appeal to school going students.
