Bummbu Nasi Singgey is where Indonesian and Malaysian Unites! | Last week, I had chance to join a review at a newly open restaurant in Kuantan. Bummbu Nasi Singgey was opened on the end of 2018 by husband and wife(Mr Mohd Hafiz and his wife Dr Rosmawati ;a consultant pediatrician) who were inspired with a restaurant when he were working in Melbourne.
Bummbu Nasi Singgey was a mixed Indonesian and Malaysian food name. Bumbu is paste in Indonesia and Singgey is East Coast famous dishes that known as Singgang in Pahang and Terengganu, while it called Singgey in Kelantan dialect. So from the name of this restaurant we know that their specialty is Singgang, while the Bumbu is for their char grill chicken, fish and lamb.
The restaurant can fit up to 40 pax for one time and is an ideal place to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner. This area definitely have a great space for parking, you can easily park in front of the shop lot near the restaurant.

Bummbu Nasi Singgey is a self service restaurant where you have to place your order at the counter. But the food will be serve at your table as it takes time to be made. This restaurant also provide a prayer room and toilet for the ease of their customer and workers, thus you can dine in with more comfort.

Singgang Ikan - Fish cook in a special clear soup dishes. served with rice and sambal belacan.

I choose the Lamb Grill for that day, for me the lamb is a little bit hard for me, but the meat grilled is delicious. I love the marination.

For 2019, they brought in new menu and it is special for someone who doesn't eat rice. The chicken, meat and lamb platter is something you will look forward to have if you in the restaurant. the price is affordable too.
SNACKS
Some of the snacks that were offer in the restaurant include the Kepok Cheese, Meatball, Tuna Sandwich and also Lempeng Nyior. Me and my kids love the Cheese Keropok so much and also enjoy eat the tuna sandwich.

Furthermore, this restaurant also offer a 50 cent drinks for Sirap and Ice Tea. Is so good to release your thirst in the hot sunny weather at Kuantan. Mom and dad surely will be okay if their kids wants 2 glass of Sirap in here. lol
Last but not least, thank you to the owner for the invites. My family definitely a satisfied customer. I do recommended you to try their Special Singgey dishes and Meat Grilled menu. I'll definitely will visit again soon.
