A Memorable Stay at Dima Garden, Kuala Ketil, Kedah. | Nestled in the serenity of Kuala Ketil, Dima Garden has become more than just a getaway; it's the canvas of my unforgettable first horse ride—a memory that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

DIMA GARDEN, located a mere 5 minutes from Kuala Ketil, started as a horse stable and has evolved into a hub of excitement, offering not only accommodation but also a range of thrilling activities.

Founded by Datuk IR Mansor Musa, the name "DIMA" is a fusion of his and his wife's names, embodying the essence of their venture. Operating for 6 months, Dima Garden has garnered positive responses, drawing visitors for both its lodging and the array of activities it provides.

The surroundings of Dima Garden exude tranquility despite being in proximity to the main road, providing a peaceful retreat free from the noise of passing vehicles.

EXPERIENCE OF A 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT STAY 

My stay at the Cengal room, reminiscent of a classic Malay house, offered a snug haven. Designed for two occupants, it exuded simplicity and comfort, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the surroundings. Spanning an impressive 12 hectares, Dima Garden hosts 23 units, each contributing to a unique and spacious experience.

The Cengal room, my chosen abode, was not only comfortable but also well-equipped with amenities such as a water kettle, air conditioning, and an iron. To add to its allure, the room was strategically located right in front of the enticing swimming pool.

Capsule Room

Apart from the Cengal house, Dima Garden boasts various accommodations, including Akasia, Cabin Room, and Capsule types. The Cabin room, capable of accommodating four people, features a compact design with a bedroom and bathroom.

The Akasia units, resembling charming treehouses, consist of four units for two visitors and one unit catering to a group of five. The Capsule room, accommodating two visitors, comes with convenient restroom facilities nearby.

Dima Garden offers a plethora of facilities, ensuring a delightful stay for visitors. These include a spacious swimming pool with designated areas for adults and children, vending machines, a dining area, a barbecue spot, a prayer room, public toilets, and an open hall.

Surau

The well-maintained swimming pool, strategically positioned for those in the Cabin or Cengal room, promises a refreshing experience. Additionally, a barbecue area near the Capsule and Akasia units, along with a relaxing pavilion for Cengal occupants and designated tables for Cabin dwellers, further enhance the overall stay.

I enjoyed a serene breakfast facing the swimming pool, with the facility also offering breakfast for visitors. For those seeking alternative dining options, Kuala Ketil town, a mere 5-minute drive away, or Lotus Bandar Puteri Jaya in Sungai Petani, approximately 10 minutes away, provide convenient choices.

EXCITING ACTIVITIES FOR GUEST

My first ever horse ride.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the horse ride, set against the lush backdrop of Dima Garden. It was more than an activity; it marked a significant milestone—the memory of my first interaction with these majestic animals.

Dima Garden offers an array of thrilling outdoor activities, including ATV rides, Horse JoyRide, and Archery. The prices for each activity are as follows:

For ATV rides, three tracks cater to different skill levels, while horse riding enthusiasts can enjoy a memorable two-round experience.

D'Terrace

The expansive open hall at Dima Garden is the perfect venue for events and weddings, adding a touch of grandeur to any celebration. Adjacent to the hall is a location complete with a garden-style stage, providing a charming backdrop for special occasions.


For those interested in hosting events or weddings at Dima Garden, various packages such as the Jasmine wedding package, Azalea package, and others are available. Wedding package prices range from RM17,900 to RM24,900, with additional packages for dinners, lavender hi-tea, and team-building activities.

Alhamdulillah, during our visit, we had the privilege of savoring a delicious feast at the open hall, complementing the overall experience.

As I reflect on my stay at Dima Garden, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and the indelible memory of my first horse ride. Dima Garden, with its natural allure and thrilling activities, offers a unique and enriching experience beyond the ordinary.
