This announcement marks the realization of the hopes and aspirations of the 22 finalists of Asian Pop Stars, who have been patiently awaiting the opportunity to perform on the competition stage.
Previously, the implementation of the program had been placed under "Keep In View" (KIV) status due to several challenges, including the withdrawal of several sponsors resulting from uncertainties in the global economic and geopolitical landscape. However, following extensive management efforts and negotiations, PGDM has received a sponsorship offer from an entity that will be officially announced at a later date, enabling the organization to proceed with the program.
For this edition, the full competition format will be jointly determined by the sponsor and PGDM, and will be officially announced by PGDM Korea representative to the public at the end of October 2026.
This announcement is expected to bring joyful news to all 22 finalists and to their supporters who have faithfully followed and supported the journey of the program from the very beginning.
