The Tokyo Restaurant Kuala Lumpur

Tokyo is my dream place to visit but I still haven't chance to visit it till now..haha..poor me but then still I'm thankful enough to have an opportunity to visit The Tokyo Restaurant Kuala Lumpur. :):)

The Tokyo Restaurant situated in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur at The Isetan Kuala Lumpur. If you take the escalator the restaurant just beside the escalator at the 4th floor. It is easy to find and as you enter the restaurant you can fell warm and so in love with ambiance.

The Tokyo Restaurant also a bar and bistro; filled with a modern and sophisticated ambience. Housed a huge area which can cater for about 180 pax patrons, a vibrant and inviting bar counter lined with an array of booze you can get, spacious dining area with comfy plush sofa and an open kitchen view too. I do love the open kitchen concept,it makes us feel more secure towards the food they prepared to us right?

So that day I have several choices of drinks that I would love to try but I choose to have a mocktails. 

There is 4 types of mocktail you can choose when you dine in here which is : 

Cranberry Lemonade

Cranberry juice, lemon juice, soda, sliced lemon

Rosemary Lemonade 

Home infused rosemary syrup, soda, fresh lemon, fresh rosemary

Virgin Passion Mojito 

Passion fruit syrup, soda, fresh mint

Oriental Tea Squash 

Home infused tea syrup, soda, fresh mint

Virgin Passion Mojito

I had a Virgin Passion Mojito. Basically it just a simple soda with a passion fruit and a mint leaves in it. But this drinks it's so refreshing and will be a great companion with my food later on.

Mentaiko Pasta

Mentaiko pasta

Mentaiko pasta made from mentaiko paste, shiso leaf, nori seaweed, dried anchpvy and yuzy pepper on the side. This pasta is so creamy but very addictive. I was planning to come here again and had this pasta one more time. Love it!

TTR Cobb Salad

Deep fried shrimp, chicken, gorgonzola, summer salad, with tabasco mayonnaise. Another refreshing dish for sharing, especially the tangy spicy kick of tabasco mayonnaise to go with all the ingredients. There also blue cheese in this salad and is really goes well with all the salad ingredients. If you on diet, this should be your no 1 choice.

Sauteed Salmon with Lemon Soy Sauce

Salmon fillet that served with romain lettuce,papaya salad and lemon soy sauce. The sauteed Salmon is another fusion menu that caught my attention when dine in here. I love the combination of the soy sauce and the salad.

Tatsuya Age Chicken with Tartar Sauce

Deep fried chicken, capsicum, zucchini, yuzu pepper, soy sauce. Tatsuya Age Chicken is flavorful deep fried chicken with their homemada tartar sauce. The salad on the side is a touch a Japanese cuisine and it add on the fusion style on this menu.

Edamame

Edamame in The Tokyo Restaurant is not like the other restaurant because in here it is served cold. As cold as just came out from the freezer. This is also one of the healthy snack you should had everyday..

A classic tiramisu that made from vanilla sponge coffee and mascarpone cheese. It was an awesome Tiramisu as I am a coffee lover and of course a Tiramisu lover. If you are of the Tiramisu fans, you should had this!

Umami French Fries

Umami French Fries

French fries that season with Bonito Flakes and mixed salt. Is not an ordinary French Fries and the dipping sauce is also not French but Japanese. hihi. I totally love the taste of it and can stop eating it.

Cheese cake whipped cream on top. Rumors said it was the best cheesecake in town and when I had the first bite of it I totally agree with it. This cheesecake is actually different with the New York Cheesecake when the texture is so soft and it melt in your mouth. So smooth and makes you wanna fly to grab one again while writing this post.haha

So if you are a fan of Japanese food, The Tokyo Restaurant is a must visit if you in Kuala Lumpur. With the great portion of food,and the delicious courses offered, I said it was a affordable and  a great place to dine in.
