NARUTO TV Animation 20th Anniversary Exhibition Malaysia. | The highly-anticipated "NARUTO TV Animation 20th Anniversary Exhibition Malaysia" kicked off its grand showcase at Pavilion Bukit Jalil over the weekend, marking a spectacular launch that brought the iconic anime series to life.


The event was launched by Mohamed Amin bin Yahya, Senior Director, and Jeffri bin Munir, Senior Deputy Director of Domestic & Event, at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture alongside members of the press, organisers, and partners. The exhibition celebrates two decades of the NARUTO anime series, bringing together fans, both young and old, from across Malaysia.

Celebrating 20 Years of NARUTO


Commemorating the occasion, the event welcomed and united NARUTO enthusiasts from all over Malaysia in a NARUTO fan gathering. Embodying their favourite NARUTO characters, excited fans were greeted by a Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama) inflatable, one of the most powerful characters in the series – a hard-to-miss photo spot for fans visiting the exhibition.

Fans gathered also enjoyed the opportunity to be one of the first to experience the exhibition along with a special Wadaiko (Japanese drums) performance, as part of the opening ceremony, signifying the ever-growing popularity and influence of Japanese culture in Malaysia.

Exhibition Highlights


The exhibition, which has made its debut in Malaysia as part of its Asian tour is now open to the public; it will run for a limited time from October 7 – December 31, 2023. Promising an immersive adventure into the world of NARUTO, the “NARUTO TV Animation 20th Anniversary Exhibition Malaysia” brings the anime series to life through experiences including 3D sets, galleries of ninja tools, and an exhilarating VR experience of NARUTO’s next generation enabling them to interact with their favourite characters from the NARUTO and BORUTO universe.

The exhibition vividly reimagines eight iconic scenes, reigniting the ninja spirit through breathtaking light and sound effects. Fans are treated to a 45-minute tour of the 21 iconic thematic zones of the NARUTO anime in the 10,000 sq. ft. exhibition area.

My Experience

Visiting the "NARUTO TV Animation 20th Anniversary Exhibition Malaysia" with my two kids was an unforgettable experience. As lifelong NARUTO fans, we were thrilled to see our favorite anime series come to life. The exhibition's attention to detail was remarkable, from the faithful recreation of iconic scenes to the immersive VR adventures. 

It truly felt like a celebration of NARUTO's 20-year legacy. The exhibition's 3D sets, galleries of ninja tools, and the NARUTO X BORUTO VR game allowed us to interact with our beloved characters in a whole new way. The display of the Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama) at the entrance was impressive and made for a fantastic photo spot. 

The exhibition's 10,000 sq. ft. area featured 21 thematic zones, each beautifully capturing the ninja spirit with breathtaking light and sound effects. It was a 45-minute journey through the world of NARUTO that left us in awe. This event was a dream come true for us, and we look forward to more such events to nurture the thriving anime community in Malaysia. Happy 20th Anniversary, NARUTO!

Ticketing Details
