Laugh, Play and Learn with Cartoonito on Cartoon Network. | As a parent who always wanted the best for their kids, I always ensure they watch an educational channel or video. In this century when everything is on screen we can find many educational channels programmed on television.

Recently Cartoon Network launched a new program, Cartoonito! It’s time for youngsters to laugh, play and learn with a brand-new selection of shows every morning on Cartoon Network (Astro Ch 615 HD)

Cartoonito on Cartoon Network,

Cartoonito offers a modern approach to programming for youngsters aged 2-5. It’s a space for them to experience belly laughs and draw outside the lines, and where every show is designed to support each child’s unique potential. This is achieved with an educational framework called “Humancentric Learning”

What is Humancentric Learning?

Humancentric Learning Pillar,

This modern educational framework is inspired by Positive Psychology and 21st Century Learning, championing curiosity and independence and intertwining learning with play.

In partnership with Educational Psychologist Dr. Laura Brown, Humancentric Learning was developed around the principles of identifying and developing one’s strengths, as well as feeling empathy for others so that every child can be the best version of themselves. Building on the learning’s four pillar strengths: Curiosity, Courage, Humanity and Creativity, Cartoonito’s diverse storytelling aims to be authentic, relevant and relatable.

  1. Creativity – Thinking and acting in new and meaningful ways.
  2. Caring – Treating oneself, others, your community and the world with kindness, compassion, respect, and fairness.
  3. Curiosity – Being interested in, observing, and exploring oneself, other people, your community, and the natural world.
  4. Courage – Being brave and persisting in the face of uncertainty, fear, or difficulty.

Cartoonito aims to inspire kids to use their imagination, to learn from their mistakes, and to treat others with empathy and respect.

Other shows include Baby Looney Tunes, Dino Ranch, Monchhichi, Alice & Lewis, Ranger Rob, Mush Mush & The Mushables, and Sesame Street-inspired Esme & Roy. They form a line-up that celebrates individuality and originality while championing creativity, compassion, and inclusion. Many of these shows – in addition to Sesame Street – are also available on the streaming service HBO GO.

Also new to audiences are Cartoonito’s very own stars. Meet Nito, Glob, Itty and Wedge. They love exploring the world and learning new things, and they’ll always be on hand to guide viewers through in-between shows. Cartoonito will be bright, colourful and fun – bursting with music and energy. Guiding audiences through their journey are Nito, Glob, Itty and Wedge. They love exploring the world and learning new things colorful. The bright color do give kids more attention to the show.

In the recent weeks leading up to the launch, families in Asia were tasked to play hide and seek with the cute TV mascots, who popped up in well-known locations around Malaysia. Cartoonito has downloadable activity sheets and games available on its website, as well as an awesome Augmented Reality filter (launching mid-April) that encourages kids to dance along with Itty and be courageous and creative.

Tune in to Cartoonito on Cartoon Network (Astro Ch 615 HD) every morning from 6am to 12pm or stream on HBO GO from Monday, April 18. My kids really enjoyed watching the show, especially Ghazy and Malique because it does make them laugh and they seem to understand the show well.
