A total of 60 female delivery partners, along with their friends, participated to celebrate this special occasion. In addition, ShopeeFood has also organized a self-development program, hosted by social science and humanities expert, Professor Dr Hadija Mohd, who is the founder of the Personal Initiative Intelligence (PI-Q) framework.

The PI-Q framework aims to build the soft skills that are so important in helping delivery partners to improve their work performance. Thus, this unique approach can focus on the development of individual internal qualities such as resilience, self-awareness and empathy.

At the end of the program, ShopeeFood delivery partners were given an evaluation based on the PI-Q program. The three delivery partners with the highest scores were selected to be awarded study scholarships at renowned universities to further their studies. ShopeeFood has chosen City Continued Education Center as the sponsor of this learning scholarship, which is worth more than RM60,000.

In the opinion of Kwa Yin Leng, Head of ShopeeFood Malaysia Operations, this celebration is an important event to recognize the contribution of women in the food delivery industry.

“ShopeeFood wants to provide our female delivery partners with a supportive environment so they feel safe and valued. We are thrilled to be working with a variety of well-known brands to showcase our appreciation for fellow female consignors in a more meaningful way. This learning program will bring many benefits and will also have a positive impact on their lives.” he said.

Apart from the self-learning program, delivery partners have also participated in skin care and personal hygiene workshops sponsored by NIVEA. In this workshop, experts from NIVEA have demonstrated skin care and personal hygiene that are beneficial to delivery partners who are often exposed to various types of weather while doing work. At the end of this session, delivery partners are given NIVEA products to help them start a new way of skin care and personal hygiene.
